Rub is a Mexican television series produced by W Studios and Lemon Studios for Televisa and Univision. It will air on Univision1 between January 21 and February 27, 2020
Rubi is a stunning woman with no bounds to ambition. She doesn’t want to leave the neighborhood where she lives, a traditional working-class neighborhood with all the excesses of her social class, despite the fact that her beauty turns men off. Rubi had a child with her mother, Refugio; Cristina, on top of age; in a private foyer, along with her daughter Fernandita. Rubi promises to leave this location where so many people have hurt them. She believes that she will never again experience the horrible smell of poverty in her life, no matter what she does. She will arrive. Even if his life has ended there.
As a result, Rubi will begin to use his talent and beauty to grimace. She will begin by persuading Héctor, the younger brother of her best friend, to abandon her fiancée and join her in Madrid. The same location will serve as the setting for her encounters with a notable fashion figure who will feature her on the covers of magazines and portray her as the face of several well-known brands; and Edward, a member of the Spanish royal family, whom she believes has finally found happiness.
But Rubi’s happy ending isn’t real. She will bring the villain to him with each step she takes. His ambition will prevent him from revealing Alejandro, his true love, a wealthy doctor who fails to live up to his hopes for fame and fortune. She will win all of the world’s money, but she will miss out on the opportunity to experience genuine love.
